 Welcome to the INTOSAI CBC Directory for Capacity Building projects.

On behalf of the INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee, sub committee 1, the Swedish National Audit Office is pleased to present the CBC directory of major capacity building projects. As outlined in the CBC Terms of Reference and discussed at the inaugural meeting of the CBC in London in 2007, one of the tasks of sub-committee 1 is to facilitate all SAIs capacity building projects. This directory is one step towards fullfillment of this task of the sub-committee. The directory provides a good overview of all major capacity building projects which will facilitate coordination and unnecessary duplication of work. We are certain that the results will be beneficial to all SAIs. The Swedish National Audit Office would like to thank all respondents for their cooperation and efforts filling in the e-survey on major capacity building projects.

To update: 

To keep the directory as informative as possible we kindly ask you to add information and/or fill in any new major externally funded capacity development projects/activities that your SAI has benefited from or is involved in as an implementing partner during the last five years, i.e. from 2003 onwards. In order to qualify as a major activity, the project/activity should at least involve one month’s work of external support. Activities with a very limited scope, such as fellowship programs or internships directed to a limited number of SAI staff should not be included.
